The chamberstick displays general wear in keeping with the age and use of the piece.  There are surface marks and scratches and also several spots of tarnishing.  Some of the scratches are deeper and more noticeable in places.  There are various minor nicks in the metal and also some small dints.  The dints are mainly around the base rim, the sconce rim and also around the rim of the detachable nozzle.  There are also contact marks to the detachable nozzle.  The detachable snuffer is in similar condition with a visible  seam line and various small nicks and dints.  There is also a small patch of discolouration, which appears to be a blob of solder and therefore indicating a possible repair.  Full hallmarks to the underside are slightly rubbed but still legible, also scratched marks to the underside.  Part hallmarks to the detachable nozzle are still legible.
