Early twentieth century silver mounted novelty pin cushion, modelled as a large pig standing on all fours. Hallmarked Robert Pringle & Sons Birmingham 1926. Maximum length measures 8 cm.

Condition Report
Pig displays general wear, surface marks and scratches and some tarnishing in places. Some minor nicks and dints to the main body. Seam line is visible along the pig's snout and it appears as though it has been re-soldered at some stage. Some tarnishing around the seam lines to the under belly and top of legs. Material is a replacement. Some wear and rubbing to maker's mark and hallmarks but all still legible.
