Early twentieth century silver swing handle fruit basket of circular form, applied scroll borders, central presentation engraving and raised above a circular footed base. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd London 1915. Diameter measuring 9 inches (23 cm), gross weight 13.5 ozt (422 grams).

The fruit basket appears in good overall condition, displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Three small dints to the rim of the basket. The hallmarks are a little rubbed but clear and legible.
