Lot Description

A large pair of Japanese Kutani porcelain vases

Late Meiji period, circa 1900-1910

Each of baluster form with flared neck, decorated with two large panels, of bijin in a garden and a bird in flight respectively, reserved on a typical orange ground with asymmetrical diaperwork and gilt clouds, red painted eight-character mark to base, 36cm, (14") high, (2)
