A rare late Georgian child's watercolour dressing-up book
Circa 1820, having a pair of miniature bust portraits on card, of a lady and gentleman respectively, 12.5cm x 10cm, (5" x 4"), together with twenty-eight (of 29 listed) hand-inscribed watercolours on paper, of corresponding size, mainly depicting exotic Eastern costumes, each with cut-out window to place over the card busts, twenty-two being female, six (of seven) male, the list hand-inscribed to the miniature folio, the original printed boards with string binding, the folio 16.5cm x 12.5cm, (6.5" x 5")
