A Victorian brass inkstand retailed by Howell & Co
Of urn form with ram's head handles and floral swags centred by portrait medallions, the glass liner with brass rim engraved "Howell & Co. Regent St.", raised upon a dished alabaster base, 7", (18cm) diameter and height

Mounts loose, just requires tightening. Light tarnishing. Alabaster base has a 2" reattached section with loss, plus a smaller flake and some edge nibbles, and also line flaws.
