A Victorian campaign-style brass-bound walnut lap-desk
The hinged rectangular top and front with brass cartouche, escutcheon and strapwork, enclosing a gilt-tooled wine morocco skiver beneath compartments, the exterior with brass corner mounts and flush-fitted side handles, a base drawer to one side, 19.5" wide x 11" deep x 8.25" high, (50cm x 28cm x 21cm)

Condition Report
General light to medium scratching, dints and wear to lid, exterior and interior commensurate with age and use. The lower half of the skiver slope is missing one brass stop so it sits below the level of the surrounding carcase. Some tarnishing to brass but no major splits or losses.
