A late 19th Century French ebonised and enamel bracket clock
Samuel Marti, Paris
Having a 6-inch enamelled cellular Arabic dial with 'Green Man' mask, the two-train movement, half-hour striking on a bell, stamped LR & Co 8769 over 69, and with Medaille de Bronze exhibition stamp, the architectural case having a moulded cornice with dentil frieze over enamel spandrels, the dial flanked by finned quarter columns, on a plinth base with enamelled panel, 13.75", (35cm) high

Condition Report
Roof is detachable and has a 3" loss to left side. Enamel spandrels and base panel have dark discolouration, the former also have some rubbing. Very minor chipping around winding arbours. Veneer losses to back edges of plinth base.
