A good mid 19th Century brass twin-fusee 'cathedral' skeleton clock
Having a six-inch silvered fretwork dial with gothic Roman numerals on shield-shaped reserves, lobed centre ring and lozenge hour markers, the blued steel hands pierced with shields, the chain-driven twin-fusee movement, with anchor escapement and wheels of five crossings, half-hour striking on a bell and hour-striking on a coiled gong, the architectural frame surmounted by a bell with axe-head hammer over ogee arch and twin spires supported by lancet arches, on an ogee plinth base, plush pad and ogee white marble base with turned feet, the frame 44.5cm, (17.5") high excluding plinths, sold with pendulum, winder, and stained pine travelling box

Condition Report
The brass frame would benefit from cleaning but the dial and movement are excellent. The marble base has been trimmed along the back edge. There is no dome. The wooden box is well-worn and rubbed but serviceable.
