Haytiming, a pastoral landscape with figures before two hay-carts, oil on canvas, signed 'H Royle' lower left, 11.5" x 15.25", (29cm x 39cm), in gilt frame

Perhaps a very slight yellowing to sky but good original (uncleaned, unrestored) order with thick impasto. A few faint vertical lines to right side but no cracking or flaking. Canvas in original un-lined condition. Shows no signs of overpainting under UV light.


The later frame has flake chips to the edges and corners.
