Lot Description

A matched late Victorian and later oak dining suite

Comprising: an Edwardian oak wind-out extending dining table, to seat 10-12, having two well-matched additional leaves of later manufacture, extending to 8ft x 4ft x 28" high, (244cm x 122cm x 71cm), together with a set of eight (6 + 2 arm) late Victorian carved oak dining chairs, and a sideboard of similar date, lacking mirror back, (9)

Table - has been cleaned and French polished. The leaves are well-matched but are later plywood with oak veneer. There are a few minor scratches to top.


Chairs - the elbow chairs are of later date but of fabulous quality and almost indistinguishable from the standard chairs. All are in good order and of solid construction.


Sideboard - has been a mirror-backed example. General light wear but no major damage.
