Lot Description

A pair of Victorian Staffordshire pottery dalmatians

Each modelled in seated pose with separated front legs, puce lustre collar and chain, on a blue-washed oval base, 5.25", (13.3cm) high, (2)

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both exhibit fine all-over glaze crazing, and a small slitted vent to the rear. The puce lustre has faded somewhat. There is a minor firing flaw to the top of the head of one dog but this is insignificant. Overall both are in good order with no chips, cracks or restoration.
