Lot Description
A French cameo ring and stickpin. The first designed as a hardstone cameo carved to depict an elegant lady within a rose-cut diamond surround to the ridged shoulders and plain band, the second designed as a shell cameo carved to depict the side profile of an elegant lady within an engraved surround to the plain pin. One stamped 9ct with French assay marks. One unhallmarked.

Condition Report
Both items are in overall fair condition. There are some chips to the edging of the hardstone cameo visible with the unaided eye, there are easily visible inclsuions to some of the diamonds, the settings may need to be secured. There are scratches to the band. Ring size R. The French mark to the back of the band is rubbed yet legible The stickpin is in overall good condition, there are some scratches to the shell, there is some discolouration to the back rim, the pin is a little bent.
