Lot Description
A late 19th century moonstone and diamond floral bar brooch. The heart-shape moonstone and old-cut diamond flower to the rose-cut diamond leaf design bar. Length 4.4cms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall fair/poor condition. There is heavy lead solder to the back pin, where the brooch fitting has been replaced or reattached. The moonstone are in good condition. There are a couple of internal fractures to the one visible with magnification. The diamonds are bright, some of the claws may need to be secured. There is blackened discolouration to the setting in keeoing with the age of the brooch. Weight 5.8gms.
