Lot Description
A sapphire and diamond pendant. The oval cushion-shape sapphire, weighing 4.85cts, within a pierced old-cut diamond surround suspended from a fine belcher-link chain. Accompanied by a report by the GIA stating the sapphire is natural violetish blue changing to purple colour with no indications of heating. Report number 2131108391, dated 28th February, 2011. Length 42cms.

The pendant is in overall good condition. The sapphire has a purplish blue to purple hue with a slight uneven colour saturation. The diamond detail is bright and lively. Inclusions can be seen to many of the diamonds. All settings will need attention to check the security of the stones.
