A late 19th century shell cameo brooch. The shell carved to depict a woman in profile, within a rope twist and lobed surround. Length 6cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in poor to fair overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The cameo is loose in its mount and has glue visible to the top. The shell has numerous small cracks with one larger crack visible to the front near her face. The surround has many small repairs with some soft solder visible and discolouration/tarnish. The pin is possibly a replacement. With loose later safety chain.
