A late 19th century multi-hinged portrait locket, circa 1880. The foliate engraved locket opening to reveal a series of four miniature handpainted portraits. Length 3.8cms.

Overall condition good, with scratches and dents to the front and back panels and inner panels in keeping with general wear. There is spotting and small patches of paint missing to the edges of the portraits.The paintings are on paper. Length of locket fully extended 8cms. Unhallmarked. Gross weight 18.2gms.
