A ruby and diamond bar brooch. The circular-shape ruby within an old-cut diamond surround to the vari-cut diamond foliate line with pear-shaped terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Stamped 9ct. Length 5.4cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The clasp is a later replacement and is stamped 14k. The bar terminals may have been repaired/altered. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, individual diamonds are too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. The ruby is a deep red hue with moderate tone and moderate-strong saturation. The ruby has typical inclusions and minor facet-edge abrasion. Weight of lot 4.2gms.
