Lot Description

An early 19th century French gold scent bottle. Of circular outline, the scent bottle with hinged lid and original stopper and canetille and bead decoration throughout. French lambs head marks 1819-1838, makers mark possibly Ambrose Mignerot. Length 5.8cms. Weight 14.5gms.

The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The rope twist handle is not original to the piece. The inside of the middle section may be missing a section of have a replacement surround. There are some small areas of dark discolouration and some very small splits. There are a couple of more significant dents.
