ROLEX - a stainless steel automatic mid-size Oyster Perpetual bracelet watch circa 1968, the silvered dial with hourly applied batons, bordered by a minute track, 18k white gold fluted bezel, tonneau shaped case fitted to a steel Oyster bracelet with folding clasp, reference number 6551, serial number 1811231, movement calibre 1161. Case width 30mm.

Automatic Rolex Oyster Perpetual bracelet watch, movement is currently functioning, dial appears in general good condition however there are some tiny specks of dust visible on the dial when examined under close inspection, hands appear to have some very light marks to the surface, glass is lightly scratched and should polish out, case has some light surface scratches and marks as a result of light wear, bracelet has some light surface scratches and appears to be bent where it attaches to the case, it is also slightly stretched, clasp has light surface scratches and is in good working order. Bracelet measures approximately 16cm including the case.
Due to the opening of the case back we recommend that this watch be resealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
