An alloy cased manual wind German observers watch by Stowa circa 1940, the matt black dial with luminescent Arabic numerals, anti-magnetic nickel silver alloy circular shaped case, inner cover marked Bauart: Stowa, case side marked with contract number Fl 23883, fitted with a signed nickel plated twenty jewel calibre 427 N with hack setting feature, movement number 6283. Case diameter 55mm.

Stowa observers watch, manual wind movement is currently functioning, light discolouration and erosion of the luminous paint to the minute track, hourly markers and hands, tiny marks also to the hands, glass is scratched and after polishing some deeper marks may remain, areas of heavy scratching and rubbing to the round case, some heavy scratches to the side of the case where it has been opened, creasing and rubbing to the leather strap, small tear also to the strap.
