A Victorian 18ct gold keyless wind full hunter quarter repeating pocket watch signed Charles Frodsham of London, the cream enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, all surrounded by a minute track, the plain case, hallmarked London, the date stamp and maker's mark are heavily rubbed but the maker's mark appears to be AS, with milled middle, hallmarked cuvette, numbered 03114, fitted with a gilt three quarter plate movement, signed Arnold Charles Frodsham, numbered 03114, having chaton set train jewelling, ratchet tooth lever escapement, bi-metal compensation balance, blued hairspring, diamond end stone and quarter repeating complication. Case diameter 45mm. Total weight 90gms.

18ct gold Victorian full hunter quarter repeating pocket watch by Charles Frodsham, the movement does currently function but the escapement does lock intermittently and may need adjustment, the quarter repeating complication is out by approximately a quarter and will need resetting, hands are covered in a layer of rust, dial appears to be in a generally good condition with some, replacement glass possesses some marks from where the hands have rubbed against it, the case possesses scratches, dints, marks and tarnishing commensurate with age and material, there are some signs of heavy rubbing to the milled middle near the case hinges, the pendant is discoloured. Case spring is slightly stiff with age.
