Lot Description
A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, all surrounded by a minute track, the round case with milled band, engine turned decoration and a vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked Chester 1886, fitted with a full plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 50mm. With key.

Victorian pocket watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning, tiny marks to the dial with a couple of hairline cracks to the bottom, tiny marks to the hands, the minute hand has also been quite significantly bent, glass is lightly scratched, case has medium scratches consistent with general wear, rubbing and tiny dints also to the rear of the case.
