Lot Description

An early 20th century diamond and enamel brooch. Of maple leaf outline, the rose-cut diamond number one figure intertwined with cream ribbon detail reading; 'British Columbia'. Personal incription to reverse reads; 'Wildy June 14.1916'. Length 3cms. Weight 8gms.

The brooch is in overall good condition. The rose-cut diamonds are bright and lively. No obvious chips or nicks can be seen to the surface of the enamel. A few minor nicks can be seen to the edges of the brooch, when viewed closely. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, in keeping with age.
