A cased late 19th century miniature portrait pendant. Of oval outline, the miniature portrait possibly depicting a young Duke of Wellington within a plain surround. Length 8.6cms. With fitted case. See Plate 6.

Condition Report
Overall good condition. There are slight scratches to the mount in keeping with the age of the piece. The portrait is in good condition, there is slightly jagged edging to the one side of the painting and there is dirt beneath the cover. There is an areas of discolouration to the back rim. The box is in overall fair condition. The velvet to the lid is missing, there are scuffs and areas of wear to the box. Weight of pendant 41.4gms.
