An 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond within an eight-claw setting to the plain band. Estimated diamond weight 1.40cts, J-K colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1975.

The ring is in overall good condition. The diamond is bright and lively. It has a light yellow hue. The stone appears free of obvious inclusions under 10 X magnification. Nicks and chips can be seen to the girdle. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen to the ring shank, general wear. Ring size P 1/2.


Dimensions of diamond: 7.1 by 6.9 by 4.85mm.
