Lot Description
A sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The rectangular-shape sapphire within an old-cut surround to the single-cut and baguette-cut diamond shoulders and plain band. Stamped plat.

Condition Report
The ring is in overall good condition. The sapphire has a deep blue to violetish grey hue. The saturation of colour is even. A hazy colour zone can be seen running along the length of the stone. An inclusion to the surface of the stone can also be seen with the unaided eye. Several other inclusions can be seen when the light is reflected of them. Other fine colour zoning, crystals and silk inclusions can be seen under under 10x magnification. The diamond detail is bright and lively. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct, All settings will need attention as some are worn. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear.
