A late 17th century Stuart crystal mourning ring. The faceted circular-shape rock crystal to the gold thread initial cypher, scrolling shoulders and replacement plain band. See Plate 5.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair condition. There are scratches to the piece in keeping with overall wear. The ring has a replacement ring shank added at a later date. The black enamel detail to the underside of the bezel is heavily chipped and damaged. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the rock crystal, there is some dirt visible beneath the crystal. The detail to the collet is worn. Ring size O. Weight 3.7gms.
