A mid 19th century cameo mourning ring. The oval-shape hardstone carved to depict an urn beneath a tree to the woven hair band. Personal engraving to inner band reads 'Ann Wilkins Obt april 3rd 1852 aged 53'.

Condition Report
The lot is in overall fair condition, there are slight scratches in keeping with general wear. There is wear to a lot of the faceted detail, there is dirt to the woven hair and wear in places. The cameo is in good condition. The inner inscription is clear, the back of the collet is a little dented. There are some dents to the inside of the band. Ring size O. Weight 2.3gms.
