Lot Description

A late 19th century 15ct gold buckle mourning ring. The ridged design buckle to the similarly-designed band with woven hair spacer detail. Stamped 15. Personal engraving to inner band reads 'F A W April 16th 1881'.

The lot is in overall fair condition, there are slight scratches in keeping with general wear. The hair is in good condition, there is some wear to one of the panels. There is discolouration to the ridges panels. one of the hair panels appears dented and may need attention. The 15 stamp is a little worn, there is some dirt to the inside of the band. Ring size O. Weight 2.3gms.
