An early 19th century 18ct gold enamelled mourning ring. The enamelled band with personal inscription reading 'Leod Wm Hartley OB 12 Aug 1815 AE 40'. Stamped 18.

The lot is in overall fair condition, there are slight scratches in keeping with general wear. The are some scratches to the enamel in places due to the age of the piece. Inside the ring, there is a makers mark surround by the number 18, letter D and two other symbols. Ring size T1/2. Weight 5.1gms.
