An early 18th century mourning band ring. The band with foliate engraved decoration. Personal inscription to band reads 'M.P obt 29 Feb 1719 oet 36'.

The lot is in overall fair/poor condition, there are scratches in keeping with general wear. The engraved detail is heavily worn and has almost disappeared in places. The inner personal engraving is clear. Ring size R1/2. Weight 5.5gms.
