A late 18th century chalcedony and turquoise brooch. The oval-shape vacant hair panel within a turquoise cabochon surround to the chalcedony surmount and scrolling border. Length 5.6cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair condition. There are scratches to the piece in keeping with overall wear. There are areas of discolouration to the scrolling surround. There is some lead solder repair to the back hinge. The pin and catch is secure. The turquoise is fairly well matched, the chalcedony is in good condition.
