An early 19th century brooch. The rectangular shape woven hair panel within a circular-shape French jet surround. Personal inscription to reverse reads 'Mrs D Lyney Ob 5 Oct 1833 at 64'. Length 2.2cms.

The lot is in fair/poor condition. There are scratches to the piece in keeping with overall wear. There is abrasion to the facet edges of all french jet easily visible with the unaided eye, they would benefit from a repolish. There are some scratches to the central glass. There are areas of discolouration to the reverse. Weight 4.2gms.
