An early 20th century diamond and split pearl brooch. Of heart-shape outline, the old-cut diamond to the split pearl surmount, may be worn as a pendant. Estimated diamond weight 0.07ct. Length 2cms. See Plate 4.

Condition Report
The lot is in overall good condition, there are slight scratches in keeping with general wear. The diamond is bright and the split pearls are fairly well matched, they have a cream body colour, there are blisters and blemishes to many. There is personal engraving to the reverse which reads 'From the Blume boys Sept 20th 1914'. There is some discolouration to the back of the brooch. The pin and catch is secure. Weight 5.6gms.
