Lot Description
A late 19th century seed pearl and turquoise brooch. Of circular-outline, the seed pearl and turquoise cabochon cluster within a twisted rope surround with outer curved border and vacant back panel to reverse. Diameter 3.5cms. Weight 13gms. See Plate 8.

Condition Report
Overall good to fair condition. Light scratches and scuff can be seen, in keeping with age. Several turquoise and split seed pearls have been replaced. They are not well matched. There is a chip to the nacre of one of the central pearls. Bruising can be seen to the outer curved border.
