A multi-gem vulture brooch. Of Eygptian design, the lapis-lazuli scarab to the textured wing surmount with rose-cut diamond and circular-shape ruby detail. Unhallmarked. Length 5.5cms. Weight 8.3gms. See Plate 3.

Condition Report
The overall condition is good to fair. There are minor dents and scratches in keeping with general wear. The lapis is dark blue with good saturation, it shows signs of wear and patches of discolouration. The rubies are a pinkish red with good saturation and some have rubbed facet edges. There is slight surface abrasion to some of the diamonds.
