Lot Description
Two late Victorian gem-set rings. To include a 9ct gold shield-shape bloodstone ring and a shield-shape citrine ring. One with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1886. One unhallmarked.

Condition Report
Both rings are in overall fair condition. There are some dents to the bloodstone ring a solder join to the reverse and the hallmark is quite rubbed. There is a hole to the metal on the shoulder as the ring shank is hollow. There are some chips to the edging of the bloodstone. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the other ring, there is an acid stain to the back of the shank, there is some abrasion to the edging of the citrine. Ring sizes R and M1/2. Total weight 5.4gms.
