A late 18th century memorial ring. Of marquise outline, the hair panel within a plain surround with personal inscription to the reverse which reads 'JR died 3rd Aug't 1799'. Replacement shank.

Overall condition fair to good. With scratches to band and hair panel in keeping with general wear. There is a small chip to one end of the panel casing. The band is a replacement. The band has been re-sized. Ring size K. Unhallmarked. Weight 4.7gms.
