A late 19th century shell cameo brooch. Of oval outline, the shell cameo carved to depict a chariot within a scroll design surround. Cameo AF. Length 4cms. See Plate 8.

Condition Report
Overall fair/poor condition. There are scratches/wear to the outer surround in keeping with he age of the piece. There are a couple of cracks stemming diagonally across the shell cameo easily visible from the reverse. The detail to the cameo is worn and there is some dirt to the detail. The back catch is bent and off straight. Weight 7.3gms.
