Lot Description
Two early 20th century 18ct gold diamond rings. The first designed as an old-cut diamond within a foliate design claw setting to the tapered band, the second designed as a circular-shape ruby within a rose-cut diamond surround. One stamped 18ct pt. One with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1907.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Estimated diamond weight in single-stone ring 0.33ct, I-J colour, P1-P2 clarity. There is a chip to the table of the diamond visible with the unaided eye. The ruby to the cluster ring is a pinkish red with an even saturation of colour, there are small chips to the ruby visible with magnification, there is a large internal fracture visible with magnification. There are some chips to the rose-cut diamonds and surface reaching fractures. All settings would need to be checked. Weight 5.6gms.
