Lot Description
An early 20th century 18ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring. The circular-shape ruby within a rose-cut diamond surround to the circular-shape ruby shoulders and tapered band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1919.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The rubies are well matched, they are a pinkish red with an even saturation of colour, there are easily visible inclusions to all visible with magnification. There is some abrasion to the facet edges of the central ruby. There are chips to the diamond. The inner hallmark is a little rubbed. Ring size Q1/2. Weight 2.8gms.
