An early 20th century sapphire and diamond brooch. Of oval-shape outline, the openwork old cut diamond surmount with rectangular-shape sapphire termination accents. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Length 3.2cms. See Plate 8.

Condition Report
The lot is in overall good condition, there are slight scratches in keeping with general wear. The diamonds are bright and the settings appear secure. The sapphires are well matched, there is slight abrasion to the facet edges of the sapphires visible with magnification. The back pin and catch is secure. Weight 3.3gms.
