Lot Description
An Edwardian 18ct gold sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The graduated circular-shape sapphires within a marquise-shape single-cut diamond surround to the circular-shape sapphire shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1901. See Plate 8.

Condition Report
Overall good condition. There are minor surface wear/scratches in keeping with the age of the piece. The sapphires are fairly well matched, they have a rich blue hue with medium-dark tone, there is some angular colour zoning visible to the central sapphire and typical inclisions to the others. The diamonds are bright, individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. The settings may need to Ring size O. Weight 3.1gms.
