Lot Description
A pair of natural pearl and diamond ear pendants. Each designed as a natural pearl suspended from a brilliant-cut diamond fleur-de-lis surmount. Accompanied by a report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating that the drilled 'pearls' are drop shaped and oval, measuring 6 by 6.4 by mm and 6.2 by 6.3 by 6.8mm and are natural (saltwater) pearls. Report number 04290, dated 2nd July 2011. Estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct. Length 2.3cms. See Plate 3.

Condition Report
The earrings are in overall good condition. The natural pearls do vary in shape. One is described as drop shaped. The second is described as oval shaped. The have a cream to yellowish cream body colour with silver over tones. Slight blemishes can be seen to the surface. The diamonds are bright and lively. All stones will need checking as settings are worn. Nicks can be seen to some. Black inclusions are present to a few diamonds. Tarnish, scratches and scuffs can be seen, in keeping with age.
The diamond surmount are early 20th century. The natural pearls and the earring backs are possible later additions.
