An early 20th century 9ct gold double soveriegn holder. The plain ovoid body with engraved initials opening to reveal two engine-turned sovereign holders. Hallmarks for Chester, 1913. Length 6.3cms. Weight 29gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The script initials are WHC. The clasp clicks shut securely. There is an overstruck makers mark WN possibly for William Neale & Son Ltd.
