Lot Description

A late Victorian 18ct gold ruby and diamond ring, circa 1890. The graduated circular-shape rubies with old-cut diamond spacers to the tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.08ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, partially rubbed.

The ring is in overall good condition. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with overall wear. There is a solder join to the reverse, the date letter has worn away and is not legible. There is abrasion to the rubies visible with magnification, the diamonds are fairly bright. Ring size N. Weight 3.4gms.
