An early 20th Century chryselephantine (bronze and ivory) figure of a female water-carrier Dominique Alonzo for Etling, modelled in standing pose with ivory face and arms, holding a pitcher in her right hand, on a naturalistic mound base signed in the cast "Alonzo D." and stamped "ETLING", and to the underside stamped "FRANCE" and inscribed '1712', 7.25" (18.5cm) high
