American interest: six late 19th century monochrome portrait photographs by Knaffl & Bro., Knoxville, Tennessee, 1897 comprising: a pair depicting American Negroes at a wedding, entitled "Honey, Does Yo' Lub Yo' Man?" and "Mr. Johnsing, Turn Me Luse", each 15.5" x 19.5", (39cm x 49cm), together with four other similar portraits, one entitled "Granpap Gib Us De Base", five of the six in oak frames, four under glass.
