A 19th century oil on canvas. Depicting an interior scene with two children mourning the death of their pet bird, 9.5" x 7.5" (24cm x 19cm. together with a framed monochrome print by Frank Harding, depicting a shipping scene entitled 'Portsmouth' signed in pencil (2).

Condition Report
Oil - the canvas has marked along the edges of the stretchers and has gilded rubs from the frame, but the canvas is otherwise undamaged. There is minor paint loss. The frame gilding is dull and dirty with losses to the gesso and other damage.
Print - the paper has staining and discolouration. The mount is indented, marked and discoloured. The frame is in poor condition with broken glass.
